The holster is engineered with a soft inside lining that will save the finish on your firearm even with repeated use (kydex and leather holsters will damage your gun finish over time). Thumb break retention strap allows you to quickly draw your gun, but keeps somebody else from grabbing your gun. The thumb side is made from strong plastic allowing your thumb to easily break the retention and draw the gun in one quick, fluid motion.
